Discuss the installation and any existing report.
Electrical inspection & testing
Clear findings help you make informed decisions. We inspect and test electrical installations, explain the report and discuss any work it identifies.

Discuss the installation and any existing report.
Testing scope agreed around your building and operations.
Findings explained and remedial work scoped separately.
EICR & fixed installation checks
An Electrical Installation Condition Report, or EICR, records the findings of inspection and testing of an existing fixed electrical installation. It is useful when you need a clearer picture of condition, are acting on a previous report or are reviewing a property you manage.
The agreed scope, access and any limitations affect the inspection. We discuss those details before the visit, then explain the observations and any recommended investigation or remedial work.

A useful visit starts with good information
Tell us the property type, how it is used, whether it is occupied and if you have earlier reports. Access to the consumer unit, distribution boards and relevant rooms is important, and testing may require power interruptions.
For business premises, highlight critical equipment and operational constraints. This helps us discuss the inspection arrangements and the electrical scope you need.
Appliance testing enquiries
Portable appliance testing concerns electrical equipment rather than the building’s fixed wiring. Tell us whether you need an EICR, appliance testing or advice on an existing report so we can discuss the appropriate service.
STRAIGHTFORWARD FROM THE START
We start with the details that matter to your property, then explain what needs to happen next.
Confirm the premises, purpose, existing records and access.
Complete the agreed checks with the necessary isolation arrangements.
Provide the report and discuss any further investigation or remedial scope.
USEFUL THINGS TO KNOW
For advice about your property,
we’re happy to talk.
No. An EICR reports on the condition of an existing installation. Installation or alteration work has its own appropriate certification. Tell us what you need the document for and we can explain the difference.
The inspection identifies and records findings. Remedial work or further investigation is discussed and scoped separately, rather than assumed to be included.
Some tests require isolation. Tell us about occupants, critical equipment and access constraints so suitable arrangements can be discussed.
Yes. Include the premises type, postcode, any previous report and the reason for testing in your enquiry. We will discuss the appropriate scope and arrangements.
